As part of this vision, we operate a variety of food and beverage businesses—restaurants, izakaya, bars, and pubs—under the theme of “creating dining spaces rooted in the community and loved by local residents over time.”

We are currently seeking a Culinary Lead / Head Chef to join our food and beverage operations.
Role Overview
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping our restaurant businesses from the ground up.

Your key responsibilities will include:
•Developing new menus
•Managing restaurant profitability and budgets
•Overseeing kitchen operations and food quality
•Managing and developing kitchen staff

Building a new restaurant from zero is both challenging and deeply rewarding. As one of the stages of our placemaking efforts, you will work with us to create dining experiences that truly resonate with the town and its people.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Highly motivated to build a new restaurant from scratch in close collaboration with management
Interested not only in cooking, but also in the overall management and operation of a restaurant
Willing to challenge conventional ideas and adapt menus to different customer segments and times of day
Passionate about contributing to local revitalisation and community-based business
Able to travel during winter months (around the Sekiyama area of Myoko City)

Required Skills & Experience

Required

Professional cooking experience in a restaurant environment
Japanese proficiency

Preferred

Management experience in the food service industry
