Echigo Showman is a company that produces and nurtures a wide range of businesses together with local partner companies and independent entrepreneurs, while overseeing town development as a whole.
As part of this vision, we are developing a variety of food and beverage businesses—restaurants, izakaya, bars, and pubs—under the theme of “creating locally rooted eateries that are loved by residents for generations.”
We are now looking for team members to join our bakery business.
Your main responsibilities will include bread production, new product development, and customer service for takeaway sales.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Highly motivated to build a new bakery from the ground up together with the management team
Interested not only in baking, but also in being involved in overall shop operations
Willing to challenge conventional ideas and create products suited to different customer segments and time periods
Passionate about contributing to local revitalisation
Able to commute during winter conditions (around Sekiyama, Myoko City)

Required Skills & Experience

Required

Experience in bread baking and sales at a bakery
Japanese proficiency

Preferred

Management experience in the food and beverage industry
Experience as a food coordinator or in product development

SalaryJPY 250,000 – 300,000 per month
Annual BonusOnce per year, subject to company performance
Working Hours8 hours per day (standard hours: 8:00–17:00). Hours may vary depending on the position.
