Echigo Showman is a company that produces and leads community-based placemaking projects, working closely with local partner companies and independent business owners to create and grow a wide range of businesses.
At the heart of this effort is the Business Planning & Project Development Manager.
This role serves as the command centre of our projects—overseeing the big picture while flexibly handling planning, execution, progress management, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. In many ways, this position is the engine that drives our placemaking initiatives forward.
You will be involved in launching new projects on a regular basis, working at speed to turn ideas into reality and grow them together with the team. The process of shaping something from nothing, and watching it develop into a living business or place, offers a high level of challenge and fulfilment.

Experience in business planning, project planning, or project management within an organisation
Japanese proficiency
