Echigo Showman is a company that produces place-making projects at a town-wide scale, working closely with local partner companies and independent business owners to create and grow diverse businesses together.
Within this ecosystem, the DX Promotion Manager plays a central role in combining digital technology with place-making to create new forms of value.
In this position, you will take the lead in the entire DX process—clearly defining goals and driving initiatives across planning, requirement definition, system design, development, implementation, deployment, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Building an advanced DX model within a real place-making environment is a pioneering challenge, even within the industry.
There are no predefined answers. You will be expected to explore new paths, experiment boldly, and help establish successful models from the ground up.
This role offers a high level of responsibility, creativity, and dynamism.
As a founding-stage team member, you will experience the company’s growth firsthand while rapidly expanding your own skills and expertise. Working closely with the executive team, you will play a key role in shaping next-generation place-making through digital innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Able to communicate proactively and positively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders
Willing to embrace change and failure, and capable of driving initiatives with personal ownership
Thinks not in terms of “why it can’t be done,” but “how it can be achieved”
Strong interest in contributing to regional revitalisation and community development
Able to travel and move around during winter conditions (Myoko / Sekiyama area)

Required Skills & Experience

Required

Experience in DX initiatives, IT-related roles, or managing IT projects within an organization
Japanese proficiency

Preferred

Consulting experience
Experience promoting DX initiatives in place-making, urban development, or regional revitalisation projects

Annual BonusOnce per year, subject to company performance
